Hi I was wondering how to get rid of my email showing on the dossier on the DJB. If it can get hidden how do I change it?

it is hidden for non members and not hidden for members, this is because people
need to e-mail you for events, competitions, helping hands, etc etc.

so no one can see your e-mail who isnt a member

Then how come when I type my email into google, I get this

http://www.google.com.au/search?q=TonyBias...:en-US:official

You're not alone Kraznor -- This is a security loophole that has needed to be addressed for a long time.

I've been getting insane amounts of spam to my DJB e-mail account and frankly it pisses me off. I only use that e-mail address for contacting people within the DJB community and yet it's on a few webcrawler lists.

This REALLY needs to be fixed.

hmm. but somone would need to know the email to type it in, and if they know it, then they don't need to type it in.

However, the DV roster does show email addresses, I suggest removing them from future issues, as If someone needs to contact you they can do so through the database.

As for the second link (http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.net/dbjedi/...iewCourse&ID=59) , you still don't see the address on the page, unless you have logged in recently.

Are you sure? Because I logged out to see, and they still showed up.

Dude. Thank you for replying to this thread, otherwise I would not have ever noticed it. Yes, everyone that posted before was correct. The statistics page and the dark voice were evil traffickers of email addresses.

I just went through and updated 12 pages and managed to remove/hide ~53,000 email addresses that were littered all over the place.

Now emails should only be visible if they are posted by users in a public location (like news/competitions/reports). Otherwise people will need to be authenticated in order to view email addresses.
