Dfb Btl Reports

It's always a good sign when the Icon of the Dinaari message board blinks to show that there are new messages on the board, even if this didn't happen too often in the last time. So I have thought putting my reports up to the board for discussion reasons. Maybe we canmanage to incread activity on the board a bit.

Well this is more an introduction message then a complete report. The last time that I was Obelisk Sergeant in the DFB is around one year ago.
I'm Michael Arkarso and you may have alreay heard it that I have recently been reasigned to the Dark Fire Brigade as Battle Team Leader.

Well, I hope getting the Battleteam to some more regular activity, especially with RoS and GJW comming this year, an maybe I can help a few of yo getting promoted.
One of my more important tasks will be to help one or more of you to get Jedi Hunter so you can replace me as Battle Team Leader for your trial.

Well, Erinyes has put up a new clan wide competition.
The Battleteams will be asigned on missions. Each battleteam will have it's on Run On where it solves the mission.
The Best 3 Battleteams get crescents, and the is a nice artifact for the winning battleteam.
If some of you plan to return to activity this would be a cool moment for doing so cause a high participation of many members of the Battleteam surely give plus points when judging the Run Ons. So check on the message board.

Well, I hope to get up a few smaller competitions for the battleteam in one of the next reports.
Nothing too amazing or exotic, but a good way to show some ativity to your superiors.

The 3rd Outer Rim War is starting this weekend. IRC channel is #outerrim, similar to the ICTE. Jedi Outcast, Jedi Academy, Battlefront 1 and 2, Republic Commando, X-Wing Alliance, X-Wing versus TIE Fighter and Empire at War are played there. you can signup for team games up to 4 on 4, but I think even bigger team games are possible. Besides CFs there might be given out 1st level crescents if enough players take part.

Another big event at least for Clan Taldryan is the current Run On Mission 'Invasion' our Questor DA Erinyes put up. Each battleteam has been asigned to a different mission and the battle team Run Ons have already started half a week ago. But you can still join in if you haven't already been in. But check the rules and the earlier posts in the Run On before you start writing.

The 1st week of the 3rd Outer Rim War turned out pretty good for the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. The Sith fraction clearly domminated the tournament and captured the Remnant Imperial system Varla. Shadow also made the 3rd place on the individual ladder. Next weekend the war continues, a good chance for helping the Dark Jedi Brotherhood conquering another system and a good chance grabbing some medals.

The Clan Cooperative Run On is going on. Jedi Hunter Illiam Syn joined our Run On and Dark Jedi Knight Jaysen should soon start the first shuttles.

The DFB is shrinking, for now. Acolyte Kai Dozer and Novice Mara Kita transferred out, so the House Summit is currently discussing the issue.

First of all let us welcome a new face in our ranks. Novice Rigar Ulrand joined our battleteam to increase the honor of house Dinaari on the battlefields of the galaxy.

I'm sure our Encoy Illian Syn already contacted you about getting promoted within the ranks. The the promotion guide on the Dinaari page is still actual, you just need to take part in a competition.

I have seen you already took part on Fire-Knight's Captions Comp, donno if this competition is still actice, cause Fire-Knight moved to House Archanis and the competition haven't been updated for some time, well, I'll ask the summit. Nevertheless there is a list of competitions in the report below, and even if you don't need then anymore to get Acolyte, they could help you for getting Protector.

Next point is the Clan Run On:

Well there isn't so much time left on the Run On and we are still not onboard of the Imperial Stardestroyer. I will try to proceed the story a bit faster in my posts, so we'll be able to complete the Run On in the specified time.

The ORW3 also completed it's 3rd week. The Imperial Remnants under the leadership of the Galactic Empire and the Vast Empire kinda dominated the battle from the beginning. The Rebel fraction and the Sith (basically the Dark Jedi Brotherhood) fought pretty hard for the 2nd place. The Dark Jedi brotherhood managed to get into a few large team battle in JO, while the Rebel fraction dominated the EAW part of the tournament. Well the Dark Jedi Brotherhood lost the battle for the 2nd place closely behind the Rebel fraction and lost their additional system they won last week, so each fraction is on 4 systems again.

Well, sure loosing a system isn't that good, but maybe it was the right sign at the right moment. The DJB had more players in this tournament last weekend then the 6 other participating clubs together. So the DJB is able to clearly dominate this tournament, and surely not only by quantity. Maybe this is a wake signal for the DJB to return into battle.

... and surely a good chance for some of you in the battleteam to get some CFs and other shinies.
