What's the idea behind the Tal avatar? From Shad's I imagine the blue is Dinaari, the Purple Ektrosis and the Red..Archanis?

Ya, Mark. Jac made the original Tal symbol a while back and then John Doe (I think) altered it slightly. But each piece of the whole symbol was made from each House's indivisual piece. AKA the Ekky crecent, archanis star and dinaari claw.
