Uzbad

27-04-2005 19:29:03

I say 'Zee' despite being Canadian.

Zed? who says zed? Someone with a bloody nose?

Súrion

30-04-2005 23:48:29

Seriously who says zed?

Requite deSaiah

01-05-2005 00:31:06

*Shrugs*

The French?

Súrion

01-05-2005 01:47:22

Possibly....although mabye Canadians do, at least the way Uzbad worded his post makes me think they do.

Requite deSaiah

02-05-2005 00:38:32

Damn Canadians.... :P

I can't talk I suppose. I'm Irish.

*Draws Eire's banner across the DB*

Súrion

If "z" is said zed in some countries, I wonder if "b" is said bed in some.....

Konar

02-05-2005 07:16:49

Damn. Out of 12 peeps, only one idiot says zed. I wonder who that could be... :P

Requite deSaiah

03-05-2005 20:25:17

Not me!

*Shifty eyes*

Really!

Alanna

04-05-2005 06:19:53

We say 'zed' in English. Given that American derives from English, you're the silly ones who can't speak the language properly :P

Meh - what do you want? We left there. :P

Anyhow that's something I was going to say... I know it's a British thging. "The Beatles A to Z" radio program is pronounced "A to Zed".

Requite deSaiah

04-05-2005 21:52:54

Well I'm Irish and I still pronounce it "Z"

Uzbad

08-05-2005 22:24:42

Canadian's all say zed, but i argue, it's "ZEE ZEE Top" not "ZED ZED top". or "ZEbra" not "ZEDbra"

I mean c'mon, Zed? It's ZEE!

Xizor

09-05-2005 08:29:31

I pronounce it "zed" too. And Uzbad, the letter alone is pronounced that. You don't say "doubleyouheel" or "doubleyoualk" for wheel and walk, do you?

Uzbad

09-05-2005 20:43:04

Actually I do. Do you have a problem with that?

Requite deSaiah

*Stops Xizor from contridicting*

I think he's telling the truth.

Xhedias

Xizor is infected with the crazy man speech :P

Kraznor

10-05-2005 08:08:13

Depends on the situation, I can use both like if im just saying the alphabete ill say Zee, but if im just saying the letter i would say zed

Xizor

Súrion

11-05-2005 07:16:31

I am pretty sure he was talking about Uzbad.

Ark Dowell

13-08-2005 01:14:44

The grete people of greate britian say Zed, and Zedbra- the original people, the people who civilised the west, the great great grandfathers of the USA, the intelligent people

Lanius Sin

25-08-2005 18:07:08

Mortimus

02-09-2005 17:36:29

i say zed because im british and actually speak ebglish unlike the americans who choose to cut out as many letters as possible so they can actually spell things (cough) right and get on with growing obese and and keeping betty-sue, louan, billy-joe, tod and their sister (who also turns out to be their mother) away from the trailer park guard dogs.

There i said it.
