Round Robin Rules

The first round will be in Round Robin format consisting of four (4) groups of four combatants each, for a total of sixteen (16) participants. The four groups will be randomly selected from the sixteen participants to assure each member has a fair shot at advancing. The four combatants of each group will play each of the other members of their group twice (for a total of six matches played), each time playing a best two-out-of-three match, with each game played to five (5) kills.

The First Round starts on Monday 28 November, and you have two weeks to play all six of your matches for each bracket. If any problems arise please let me know via email or IRC.

These matches may be played in conjuction with regular Gaming Nights, ICTE, or the Sunday Tournament. If you play during one of these days you should report the match as usual through the DB website. I would ask that one of you also shoot me off an email telling me which bracket the match was for and the scores. CFs will be awarded as usual if you play on these days. If you choose to play on a non-official gaming day just report matches directly to me. I will award CFs after the end of the two-week round robin time period.

The Invitational is still not finished. To update everyone.. the first round officially ended Jan. 31 after it was extended. Jaysen was working on beginning the second round to start mid-February, but RL problems has keep him busy. Hopefully he'll return soon enough and we will be able to finish this. We'll have to check and see who is still interested in continuing of course.
