Alright, so this is a recap of everything since day one of the Yuuzhan Vong invasion of the galaxy. This is also my Holonet News report for the fiction event, so DON'T [Expletive Deleted F-word]ING COPY IT OR I'LL KILL YOU!!!!!!!

INVASION: A Recap on the Yuuzhan Vong War from the Beginning to the Present Day
Let me start this article off by saying that this reporter is extremely lucky just to be alive. As I write this article, I’m sitting on one of the very few ships to make it off the surface of Coruscant intact. The ship is filled over the max capacity with refugees, most of whom have lost everything, including their families and friends. This is a dark day for the galaxy. It is one that everybody knew was coming, but just could not bring themselves to believe.
It all started in 24 ABY, when Yuuzhan Vong advance agents infiltrated the ExGal-4 station at Belkadan, which was positioned to study Vector Prime. Vector Prime, as most of you now know, is the weakest area in the energy field surrounding our galaxy. It was at Vector Prime that these extragalactic beings we have come to know as the Yuuzhan Vong broke through the energy field and began their invasion path.
Still, the entirety of the galaxy was unaware of these events until the Yuuzhan Vong’s first overt attack, which was the invasion of Sernpidal. It was here that the galaxy learned of the true nature of these extragalactic invaders when they were able to crash Sernpidal’s moon into the planet. Many lives were lost, but none were felt more strongly across the galaxy than the death of one of the heroes of the Rebellion, Chewbacca. Chewbacca died as heroically as he lived. Various reports indicate that Chewbacca died while loading civilians onto the Millennium Falcon.
The attack on Sernpidal, however, was only the beginning. In the next few months, worlds such as Dubrillion and Destrillion fell to the might of these extragalactic invaders.
During these attacks, the majority of the New Republic Senate, including Chief of State Borsk Fey’lya, was still skeptical about the invasion even after all this time. It was due to this negligence that the next confrontation, at Dantooine, was a massacre.
At Dantooine, the Yuuzhan Vong unleashed their slave soldiers, called Chazrach. These Chazrach were seemingly limitless in supply, and even with the help of Jedi such as Jacen Solo, Anakin Solo, and even the great Jedi Master Luke Skywalker, Dantooine fell with massive casualties on the side of the New Republic. Once again, a planet had fallen to the Yuuzhan Vong, and there was little the Republic could do to stop it.
Just barely after the Dantooine Massacre, the Yuuzhan Vong set their sights on the pacifist world of Ithor. It was here that Jedi Knight and former Rogue Squadron pilot Corran Horn offered to battle the Yuuzhan Vong fleet commander, Shedao Shai, to the death for the fate of the planet. Even though Jedi Horn won the battle, the Yuuzhan Vong backed out of the deal and lay waste to the surface of Ithor.
After the disaster at Ithor, a sentiment of Anti-Jediism swept across the galaxy. It was not helped by the fact that the Yuuzhan Vong Warmaster, Tsavong Lah, demanded the heads of all Jedi in return for peace. This lead to the rise of Yuuzhan Vong collaborator groups such as the Peace Brigade. This group was very public in its intentions. They set out to capture Jedi in order to deliver them to the Yuuzhan Vong, who had promised peace in return for the Jedi. Still, most of the galaxy looked at the situation rationally and realized that the Yuuzhan Vong had not traveled from outside the galaxy just to live in peace. The Yuuzhan Vong were so radically different in culture and beliefs that the only way there could be peace would be if every sentient being in the galaxy was either dead or enslaved.
When the needs of the Yuuzhan Vong were not met, they invaded Fondor, where the New Republic was aided by the Hapan Fleet. At the battle, Centerpoint Station was used with disastrous effects. Rumor has it that Jedi Anakin Solo was preparing to fire the weapon when he was convinced to stop by his older brother Jacen. It was then that, allegedly, Thrackan Sal-Solo, former leader of the Human League, fired the weapon. Unfortunately, the weapon was not aimed properly by the infamous Sal-Solo, which lead to the destruction of most of the Hapan Fleet. This incident lead to the loss of Fondor and the withdrawal of the Hapan Navy from the war.
The next few weeks also saw not only the loss of the planet Duro, but also the loss of two heroes of the Yuuzhan Vong War.
Anakin and Jacen Solo, Jedi Knights and sons of two heroes of the Rebellion Han and Leia Solo, lead a Jedi strike team to a worldship over the planet of Myrkr. Details on the strike are sketchy at the moment, but we do know that the purpose of the strike was to destroy the voxyn breeding center. The voxyn are specially bred creatures that were made to hunt down and kill Jedi. Rumor has it that the strike team succeeded, but what is known is that Anakin Solo was killed. Also, Jacen Solo, the older brother of Anakin, is reported as missing. Since nobody has confirmed the elder Solo brother as dead, he is only confirmed as missing, but it is highly unlikely that he is still alive.
With the loss of two very public figures, morale in the fleet has never been lower. The New Republic has suffered loss after loss, and there has been no sign of victory on the horizon. With the recent loss of Coruscant still very vivid in everyone’s, especially this reporter’s, minds, it seems like there is no hope. On top of all of this, the New Republic Chief of State has been reported as killed in his own office. Nobody knows who was able to make it off the surface of Coruscant, and nobody knows where most of the New Republic’s government is, or even if there still is a Republic. This is truly the darkest day that this reporter, and the galaxy, has experienced, and this claim includes the destruction of Alderaan.
We are not sure where we are headed, now as refugees, but rumor has it we are headed to Borleias to meet with General Wedge Antilles and what remains of the New Republic Navy.
