If Anakin was in his 20's in Ep. III, and the start of IV is like 20 years later, + the extra 9 years that takes place between ANH and RoTJ. That would make him around 50 something wouldn't it?

Where are you getting 9 years for the time between ANH and RoTJ? I was always under the impression that it was about 3 years between ANH and ESB, and then only a matter of months separating ESB and RoTJ. So 4 years tops for that timeframe.

i think its more like a year or (stretching) 2 between esb and rotj, but that would still only make it 4 to 5.

The official timeline places The Battle of Endor at 4 years after The Battle of Yavin.

He's approx. 21 in RotS, add 19 years til Battle of Yavin...

I don't think anyone will ever know the exact age of Vader when he died, but mid-fourties sounds about right

Well he was 9 in TPM... its just a case of looking at the timeline and figuring it out from that.

Take Wikipedia with caution though... you or I could add articles to it so its never totally reliable.

ok id say about 21 at ROTS add 19 and 4 thats like 45 depending on when he was born
