What DJB rank would famous Sith of the SW universe have possessed? Palpy etc probably would have been GM, but Dooku may only have been DJM or less...

Bane, Revan, Nihlus Marka Ragnos and Palpatine would all have been Grand Masters. Darth Plagueis might have been a DP and Darth Traya would probably be DJM.
Anyone who was rightfully appointed Darth or Dark Lord of the Sith (Exar, Uliq, ect. ) would have been Grand Master. Userpers or people not righfully appointed (Revan, Malik, etc.) were probably elders of some sort.

And Revan didn't usurp the Sith Throne, he created a new Empire. Malak usurped him. Therefore, Revan would be a GM and Malak would be a DJM.
