This may well be old news, but I've just read a report that Lucas may appear as Baron Papanoida in SW Episode III: http://www.sky.com/showbiz/article/0,,50001-1171190,00.html

(Sorry, don't know how to HTMLise a link on these new boards)

Oh come on, give him a break shall we. It's HIS movie, HIS toy and he's more then authorized to do with it all he want. He's making a cameo appereance ? WOW big deal. I bet nobody will be actualy able to notice him since the scene in question is the theater one, why so many noises ? I remember all the hype for Timberlake (sp ?) and his groups in Ep2 but I'm sure nobody really noticed them.

I think Lucus is riding the trend of Cameo appearences, ever since Peter Jackson from LOTR set the stage. Let him have this small appearence, you can barely see the character in the movie anyways, it wont be as prominant like Jacksons appearence.

You have to go back a little further than that for the reference. Alfred Hitchcock appeared in almost every film he made.

M. Night Shyamaylan (sp?) does the same thing... only more noticable, it seems.

The only Peter Jackson cameo i noted was in RotK...on the boat...did i miss some others?

Well in Fellowship of the Ring he was the fat guy in Bree eating the Carrot; in the Two Towerrs he was one of the Rohirim defending Helms Deep, he is the fat guy holding the spear at the front barracks (main gate that was being hammered by the Uruks with the battering ram). And in the Return of the King, as the Quartermaster for the Corsair Ships that were sailing into Gondor.

Oh by the way, I really like my new avatar. Who would have thought he would attack in that manner! :P

Where is that clip from, Tib? I hadn't seen that part... and yeah... I hadn't expected to see him do that either, very cool. The previous trailers gave the impression he just ran forward.

Did you know that Mark Hammell does a voice on Time Squad. He's the robot. And that Gene Hackman does the Lowes commercial

Actually they did put a young Han Solo in it, they filmed it and everything. It was cut out of the final product, though. Maybe it'll be on the DVD

I saw Lucas in the movie... he is above the entrance Anikin uses to speak with The Chancelloer. The scene about Darth Plagus.

Lucas' daughter is the portly blue-faced woman behind Palpatine when they return from Grevious' ship.

Lucas is ... as described above. When loooking for him, look for the tan, near naked twi'lek woman in a white outfit walking up the stairs in front of Anakin, then when the camera angle changes Lucas will be in the bottom left just outside the door Anakin goes through.

I believe Lucas' son is the kid that gets gunned down at the Temple when Bail Organa arrives.

Really? I didn't know that i'll have to look for that when I see it again.

Here you go:

Lucas and his daughter standing outside Palpatine's opera (?) box.

Lucas' portly daughter behind Palpatine (she's on the right w/ the blue face).

Jedi padawan Zett Jukassa (Jett Lucas) fights for his life at the Temple.

Before you start asking - I got these screen captures from the highly-reported Episode III bootleg through a friend of a friend. I know someone who knows someone else who actually has a copy. I asked them to snap a few screens for me including the three above. I don't actually have the bootleg film and I don't know where to get it. No - the guy I know will not take orders or requests for it.

Doesn't Lucas have 2 daughters? I read on the SW.com website that his other daughter plays the red headed Senator to the left of Palpatine in that above picture.
