Who is the strongest

Karnn

09-07-2005 20:16:10

Have fun who is the strongest

Carrnn

09-07-2005 23:23:14

YODA'S STRONG

remember he lifted an X-wing out of a swamp!

Karnn

09-07-2005 23:38:51

thanks Kaine Mandaala for fixing my spelling

And Luke is the stongest just.

karrel

10-07-2005 13:50:35

I believe Anakin is the strongest... had he not suffered the injuries from the Lava Planet, he would be twice as strong as Palpatine... well according to George Lucas ;)

Karnn

12-07-2005 02:59:46

Maul rocks

karrel

12-07-2005 11:22:17

ya... cant beat the red double bladed light saber and the tats can ya Karnn?

Mike Halcyon

12-07-2005 12:18:02

Obviously Obi-Wan is the strongest Jedi. Not only does he pwn even Darth Vader in saber fighting, he also rocked all six episodes - and that even when he was dead!

karrel

12-07-2005 22:02:51

ha ha, but so are C-3P0, and R2-D2... and Anakin Skywalker... they've been through six episodes.. mwhahaha... cant beat that can ya :P?

Xhedias

12-07-2005 23:22:17

It sounds like your asking for who's strong. Which would naturally mean overall physical strength. Maul would rock that category among these people listed.

karrel

13-07-2005 17:32:48

Xhedias has a point. <_<

Anywho, I will always believe Anakin is strongest with the force. Well the younger Anakin. Since he was injured on Mustafar, he isnt the same anymore. Like common, Vader would overthrow the Emperor if he isnt mostly machine. No one can change my mind. Anakin is clearly the strongest with the force!! :P

Jaymz

16-07-2005 11:44:00

Most definitly it would be Obi Wan, though he is not the best, this is for the Strongest, Obi never lost a fight, he let Vader win. Obi is my vote, and i hate people who pick Maul, any sith that dies in the first movie he appears in is not good, let alone the Strongest.

karrel

19-07-2005 19:31:01

lmao Jaymz, you have DEFINATELY got a point there.... wow, i would have NEVER thought of that. Ya sorry for those people to vote Maul.

Karnn

21-07-2005 02:39:17

but obi-wan used hatred which is a form o the sith meaing that he only beat maul using hatred aint very jedi like

Carrnn

21-07-2005 04:35:48

sooo?

Jaymz

23-07-2005 10:17:28

You didn't make this poll for who followed the path of the Light side/Dark Side the best, even Windu used some anger when fighting Palps. Like I have said in the past you cannot block out emotions essential to life. Anger is one of them. A life time of training could not prepare one for losing someone they love.

Karnn

25-07-2005 22:48:55

yere ur right and i do like obi wan he is cool

Lucian

27-08-2005 15:13:20

Most definitly it would be Obi Wan, though he is not the best, this is for the Strongest, Obi never lost a fight, he let Vader win. Obi is my vote, and i hate people who pick Maul, any sith that dies in the first movie he appears in is not good, let alone the Strongest.

yes obi he could have taken vader in ANH but there wouldnt be a trilogy

Ethen

27-08-2005 18:43:19

Obi my hero *huggles Obi Plush*

Ood Bnar

03-09-2005 15:45:48

yeah, Obi is the best!

Lucian

11-09-2005 12:19:38

yeah, Obi is the best!

hands down

Ood Bnar

18-09-2005 04:57:59

thank you

Lucian

19-09-2005 18:28:14

any time

Mortis

20-09-2005 20:03:53

Easily Annakin, out of that list, you really cant even come close to his power.

Diablos

22-09-2005 06:35:04

Yoda rules!

Ood Bnar

24-09-2005 05:48:25

Easily Annakin, out of that list, you really cant even come close to his power.

darth vader did never really beat Obi-wan, he only won because Obi-Wan let him win to ensure that Luke could escape safely

Lucian

24-09-2005 14:31:56

i think obi might have stood a chance in that fight

Ood Bnar

25-09-2005 04:15:56

according to the info on lightsaberstyle 3: true masters of that form (obi) are almost completely invincible

Diablos

25-09-2005 15:55:11

Yeah i reckon obi would have won.

Ood Bnar

25-09-2005 16:05:27

he clearly was the best

Lucian

26-09-2005 16:57:59

i know, we all know deep down that obi is strongest he might have stood a chance against palps
btw did u notice obi went down like 1% in the polls?
what are these people thinking

Ood Bnar

30-09-2005 13:47:29

they just don't know the truth

Diablos

30-09-2005 15:49:56

Or maybe they know it but they choose not to accept it, but i gotta say that Obi is the strongest.

Aabsdu

30-09-2005 22:55:25

I vote Yoda, even though the Emperor "beat him" he's still a little green devil. He's probably one of the only jedi or sith to ever die of old age.

Diablos

01-10-2005 07:11:48

You make a good point about the old age thing.

Ood Bnar

01-10-2005 10:53:23

yeah, that is also true

Aabsdu

01-10-2005 12:34:26

:D

Lucian

01-10-2005 12:47:34

i say obi is a better swordsman than yoda mace even said it in the ep 3 book that he was better than both of them

Ood Bnar

01-10-2005 16:03:58

yeah, Yoda chose Atari to counter his size and limited reach and Mace used Vaapad to channel his anger in a positive way. Only Obi-wan uses a lightsaberform because it fits his phylosophy on life. he doesn't use Soresu to counter a weakness like the other jedi.

Lucian

01-10-2005 17:26:14

yep

Uzbad

11-10-2005 15:31:48

I say Mace Windu is the strongest.

Shamash

12-10-2005 04:22:24

I vote for Naga Sadow :D

But to the topic related charachters I vote for Darth Sidious....

Jaymz

13-10-2005 09:29:55

Obi never really lost a battle if he didn't want to. So he is my Best Character.

Shamash

13-10-2005 09:44:10

Hah,he just didn't want to admit he lost on his own mistake.no offense.

Lucian

14-10-2005 15:00:00

no obi is the most powerful

Ood Bnar

14-10-2005 16:54:25

I say Mace Windu is the strongest.

yeah, but Mace chose to develop and use Vaapad to use his agression to fuel his force abilities. so he also uses a lightsaberform to counter a weakness

Lucian

15-10-2005 15:42:25

but obi is the master of soresu yoda and mace's style is to make up for a weakness

Lucian

15-10-2005 15:44:00

obi went down another 3% at the polls and is now tied with sidious
what is wrong with you people?

Ood Bnar

15-10-2005 17:19:41

but obi is the master of soresu yoda and mace's style is to make up for a weakness

that's what i'm trying to say. mace and yoda have impressive skills but they are no match for obi's simple balanced technique

Lucian

15-10-2005 23:47:07

another thing for the people who believe obi isnt the best, he is the only one who knows what he is and isnt capable of unlike the rest of the jedi and sith who think they are invincible

Rage

16-10-2005 00:24:05

Most definitly it would be Obi Wan, though he is not the best, this is for the Strongest, Obi never lost a fight, he let Vader win. Obi is my vote, and i hate people who pick Maul, any sith that dies in the first movie he appears in is not good, let alone the Strongest.

Yeah but it seemed rushed too me

Devani

16-10-2005 05:31:22

I voted for Yoda because he was the only one in the movies to die of old age and he was an amazing fighter, gave the emperor a run for his money.

Lucian

16-10-2005 21:39:50

obi

Aabsdu

17-10-2005 11:41:52

I say they're all practically equal because most of the time one was fighting with the other or such. With jedi mainly they need (each other) to survive. Sith can live alone.

Lucian

17-10-2005 19:16:50

still he never lost

Devani

20-10-2005 21:36:12

Exactly.

Macron Sadow

20-10-2005 23:32:53

Tough call. I will say, that Mace almost had the Emperor at one point. Except for that arm getting chopped off thing.

Ood Bnar

22-10-2005 10:13:40

yeah, it's a difficult matter

Lucian

22-10-2005 13:52:09

not really

Ood Bnar

22-10-2005 18:09:18

you can see it from different angles, either he (palps) was too trusting or he was about to be destroyed

Anonymous

19-12-2005 17:08:45

Yoda is the strongest Jedi i wish i had an epic battle with him so maybe i could win

Uzbad

23-12-2005 23:53:06

Uh...?

Yoda vs. An APP.

Yoda would win by flicking an eyelash at you.

Vladeck

20-01-2006 16:50:23

Obi is the best jedi ever he defeated anaking when he was strongest

Lucian

21-01-2006 13:30:52

have to agree obi is the greatest

Revenant

22-01-2006 09:05:56

Obi wan let Vader win. This is true. BUT - this was for a reason. He knew there was no way he was gonna get off the Death Star alive. By preparing himself, just before Vader cut him down, he became one with the Force. If he hadn't, there would have been no Obi Wan ghost to guide Luke, hence no more Jedi, and the Emperor would have been unstoppable.

Aghasett

22-01-2006 19:22:46

I think destiny and circumstance played a large part in what made Obi-Wan so great. But on a scale of overall force strength and general attunement to the force, Yoda wins.

Revenant

22-01-2006 21:45:05

Dunno about that one. It was clearly stated that Anakin had the highest midi-chlorian count. Yoda was better attuned to the Force, but Anakin was stronger...

Aghasett

23-01-2006 16:13:16

True, Anakin had the natural abilities to be the strongest, but his life choices didn't capitalize on those strengths.

Vladeck

27-01-2006 20:05:30

So Obi is still the best! >:)

Shadow

09-02-2006 06:11:37

Na yoda would kick anyones booty any day

Ceric Crimson

10-02-2006 18:43:31

Not strongest physically, but one who held the most cunning was Darth Revaan.

Thats my story and I'm stickin' to it! :P

Miroya

28-06-2008 02:12:27

Darth maul, he had the most self control out of any Sith. If it was Jedi how ever, it would be Yoda.

Etah

28-06-2008 23:48:42

Wow, that’s one hell of a necro. Well the damn things back so here’s my cent and a half:

Strongest physically: Maul

Strongest mentally: Count Dooku

Strongest in the force: Palpatine

Severon V

03-07-2008 11:25:57

Sidious beat Yoda one on one, Sidious is the strongest.

Scyrone

06-07-2008 23:14:29

Sidious was the strongest? Dude, he got thrown down a shaft by a half robot half human with one hand, who was beaten by a farmboy/noobishly 2 year Jedi. Sidious was one real idiot. And yes he did come back alive, but this doesn't take away from the fact of embarrassment from Vader.

I don't think there really is a strong Jedi or Sith. Most people would say Maul, but he was beaten by an Apprentice. Some say Revan, but he was knocked out by a few laser blasts from another ship. Some say Sidious ('nough said). Mace Windu was defeated by a whiny, cry baby. The only person that comes close to the strongest is Yoda, who escaped from battle of two Sith Lords (Dooku and Sidious [and I am referring to Dooku in Dark Rendezvous]). Obi-Wan was killed by a robot man. Vader was killed by a failure of life support. Yea, not really that strong are we.

I think the most awesome force user though is Kyle Katarn. Kyle reminds me of this idea: "Let's take Han Solo, pre-ANH, and then give him the force and replace Chewie with this weird, somewhat attractive, chick".

Kah Manet

07-07-2008 01:58:18

Ok, how about we destroy your lungs...then give you life support, then take it away.

In the books, Vader was actually slowly but surely healing his lungs and making them usable again, it took extreme anger and focus, but he was doing it. Only one other Sith Lord knew how to do it, and that was Plageuis, but he was dumb and slept a lot.

I say Maul, not only because he mastered every lightsaber form I believe, but because he also had the most depth, and most character possibilties, and we never exactly stated what strong meant.

Etah

07-07-2008 02:31:54

Maul was strong physically and an accomplished warrior but weak in the force and weak in the mind

Palpatine was strong in the force and in the mind but extremely weak in the body, the same could be said of Vader.

Revan was strong in the force, strong in the mind and very strong in the body and on top of it all extremely charismatic. The same could be said of Exar Kunn or Ulic Qel-Droma.

I think Xendor deserves an honorable mention here. 25,000 years after his supposed death he’s still the bogyman of children’s nightmares

Scyrone

07-07-2008 16:51:54

I would die for sure. But then again I am not the Chosen One. I am not a Sith Lord. I did not defeat a whole bunch of Jedi. I was not second in command of the galactic empire. But Vader was. He was powerful, and beaten by life support lol

Jaek

26-03-2009 00:37:26

I'm pretty sure Galen Marek should be on that list, as he beat the [Expletive Deleted] out of Vader and Palps....I'm going with him. =)

Kalak Ragnose

29-03-2009 18:58:12

Just remember, Obi-Wan was thrashed twice by Count Dooku, so he did lose battles. I'm voting Darth Sidious. Half the time he didn't even need to fight, he was that good.

Mograine

04-05-2009 12:52:44

Kind of amazed than none mention Luke here (just seen the last page btw xD)...
Luke most likely passed every known force-user in the force and power (lightsaber-fighting included) by the present EU timeline.

Etah

05-05-2009 01:55:12

Luke Skywalker is a fag who would have been apart of the Agricultural Corps in the old order (or so thought Lord Crask our GJW storyline).

Most people ignore him because he is an aberration. He isn’t logical and doesn’t make sense. No moisture farmer should have been able to Master the techniques of the Jedi including force usage and lightsaber combat in such a short, cliché montage of events and I think it’s been decided that his father Anakin, not Luke is the Sith’ari and the Choosen One.

Mograine

05-05-2009 14:34:45

Didn't say that Luke was either the Sith'ari nor the Chosen One, but in SW-canon, he's one of the most powerful force-users.

Scyrone

02-06-2009 16:47:35

Okay, since Vader was beaten by Kenobi, Kenobi by Dooku, Dooku by Yoda, Yoda by Sidious, and Sidious by Skywalker, and Maul beat Qui-Gon, then it would either be Maul or Skywalker, and since I think that a farmboy with 3 years of Jedi-ness is a n00b, Maul would win. You have to remember, the movies aren't all that tell the tale of Maul. He was pretty epic. The only reason he died on Naboo was that he focused more on his physical self and his ability to most likely win instead of the life of Obi-Wan.

Brimstone

08-06-2009 00:45:12

It sounds like your asking for who's strong. Which would naturally mean overall physical strength. Maul would rock that category among these people listed.

Except Obi-Wan beat him, so that negates Maul from the list.

this is a open ended poll with no real choice. The choice should been in the poll as NONE OF THE ABOVE!

Here is why I say this

Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker - His passion was relied on saving those he loved and failed everytime because he was trying to find a way to save them instead of focusing on his own growth

Darth Sidious - got to full of himself and his pwers that he forgot that he was vulernable and that all the spies he leaked information to would actually be the ones to defeat him

Yoda - too old and couldn't see in the Force Sidious' plan till it was too late. Spent too much time training the padawans and not spent training the ones that needed it, i.e. skywalker

Luke Skywalker - Only survived because of the love his father shown at the end. He was owned by his father and by Sidious. Wonder why Obi-wan or Yoda never tell him who the Emperor really was? That bit of information would have helped in him preparing to fight 2 Sith instead of one.

Darth Maul - Pure hunter that was arrogant. Relied too much on his skills and strengths instead of learning of his foes weaknesses. Hence why Obi-Wan beat him. Even before he kicked Obi-Wan into the pit, he was getting schooled who channeled the emotion of the his master's death into a perfect assault that Maul couldn't handle.

Count Dooku - Pawn! Plain and simple. He was not a true Sith except by title. He was just like Anakin, bent by Sidious will and manipulated into thinking he can defeat anyone. Lost to yoda and killed by Anakin.

Obi-Wan Kenobi - Where do I start? Too headstrong and resists what he is taught. Yoda said no to Anakin as a Padawan and Obi-wan refused. Couldn't see into the Force when Anakin broke the rules of the Jedi Order and got married, yet Sidious knew. Relied too much on friends to support him. Got old and hid for 20 years instead of working to gather other jedi to regroup and rebuild even after knowing who Sidious/Vader was. Allowed himself to die at vader's hands only to manipulate Luke into "hating" Vader. Hides the truth about Vader from Luke for years instead of giving him the full knowledge of who he was so he would have been more prepared instead of traumatized and unprepared. Failed as a master to keep Anakin from turning and nearly got Luke killed.

Qui-Gon Jinn - the only one on here that would been the best choice, but instead got killed by an apprentice Sith that lost to his Padawan, which begs the question, Shouldn't Obi-Wan been Qui-Gon's master instead? Main thing he had going for him was that he didn't just focus on the future of the jedi order, he believed in the here and now, on the present situations.

This list, the easiest solution is this. Remove all the Jedi. It took one Sith, Sidious, to manipulate them, control, them, and eventually kill them wthout their knowledge and do it right under their noses and even with their willingness to help him till it was too late. Remove Luke Skywalker, he was owned by Sidious and would have died if not for his father. Remove Maul and Dooku, killed by jedi. and Remove Sidious and Vader, killed by each other.

Who does that leave?

NONE OF THE ABOVE

That's my 2 cents worth

Reman Khaar

25-12-2010 01:52:43

I gotta go with Sidious on this one, if only because Anakin never reached his full potential. I would go with Luke, but I dislike that guy. :P

Sanarai Iridana

16-04-2011 16:37:50

Physically strongest: Darth Maul/ Darth Bane
Strongest in the Force: Anakin Skywalker
Strongest over-all: Obi-Wan Kenobi. Reason being, he never killed in cold blood, and he stuck to his beliefs, not falling to the dark side like so many other Jedi before him.
