Is the "a" in krath pronounced like the "a" in father, apple, or late? I know it sounds like a silly question, but I need to know for my Krath Core Exam.

I need to know so that I can finish my limmerick. The pronounciation obviously makes a big difference when you're trying to rhyme. I checked the notes and the compendium, but my attempt was in vain. Sorry about the font, though.
