Dragon Con

Hello Lords and Ladies of Naga Sadow. In six (6) months time the ultimate event in the realm of geekdom will once again be occuring I am of course speaking about Dragon Con.

Taking place over Labor Day weekend in Atlanta GA Dragon Con has everything a geek could desire. From gaming, to costuming, to cult films and music, drinking, brawling or lightsaber fight tutorials, panels and Q&A sessions with some of your favorite celebrities, D*Con has it all.

Last year six (6) members of this clan were able to make it, and I'd like to see a bigger showing this year. There's tons of Stormtroopers and other Imperials, and way too many Jedi, but as far as I could tell we were really the only Dark Jedi present. So I encourage everyone to come on out make a showing for the Dark Brotherhood and Clan Naga Sadow and have some fun.

That sounds great, however Atlanta is across the country for me, so as much as I'd like to show up, I don't think I will make it there.
If you could take some pictures while being there, tell us how it was, I would really appreciate and enjoy it.

I actually live in the Atlanta area, but have never been to Dragon Con (If you've ever driven in a major city while an event's going on, you know why )

StarLion you have to come. Sathil, if you start saving now it can be entirely feasible. I'm trying to get 10 people, right now we have 7. If we get 10 we can get a group discount. Feel free to email me if you have any questions.

It still stands as I originally said - I'd only go if Muz was going and I'd have to stay in the hotel where it was happening.

Kaine it's in three hotels. The Hyat, the Marriot, and the Hilton. We stay in the Hilton as it's the most posh for the price.

But I have already booked all my holidays this year... So you guys have fun.

Unfortunatly, I'm not going to be able to show this year, but I swear, I will next year.

I know I won't be going. There's a con in Texas (SFX) thats only 8 hours away from where I live that I may be able to go to but only because its on the weekend and we can drive up there after school lets out and stay with family that lives up in Plano. Hopefully next year we'll be able to make it to Dragon*Con.

I shall start working toward next year.

Circumstances got beyond my control for this year, with a pending birth in the family, the immediate need for us to buy the house we're living in, a newly adopted dog, various home improvements that need to take place in the next 3 months and the need for a new system looming overhead.

I will be at DragonCon along with the TarValon.net (Wheel of Time fansite ... I actually learned about DJB from another Dark Jedi who is a member of Tar Valon) group ... will be there from the 30th through the 4th.

KAINE You better be there next year!!!
