Aticus stood looking out of his quarters window. As acting Quaestor, Aticus got the nice rooms. He wasnt very pleased though. He had hoped to fight this war with his brother, but Talon was forced to stay at bay due to the injuries that he had sustained before the Ziost battle cruiser had arrived. He rememberd what had happend so clearly, and couldent calculate how it had happend.

|| :: (( Ziost Recovery Site :: 30 MIN UNTILL PICK-UP )) :: >>

Aticus looked down from the moon and watched his brother walk back to his star fighter. He could tell that even that battle in space was a refresh of the old days. Talon looked as if he had been reborn as a pilot again. Yet, he also seemed tired. Perhaps the battle had taken more out of him than he had thought. He then noticed Talon start to stumble.

"Talon you fool, did you already start celibrating?"

He then saw Talon begin to fall to his X-Wing's nose. Then Aticus's sharp eye caught a glimps of a flash of light behind the X-Wing. He knew then what it was. Aticus was quick to enchace his speed as he ran. He then saw a young boy, not any older than 14 standing there. Even though some of the Ziost members were around that age, not many light jedi had sabers at that age.

Aticus tried to call on the force to send an energy wave to his the boy only, but his connection was as like light blocked off in a rain storm. He then saw something in the boys eye that one would never see in a light jedi. The boys eyes were filled with hate and rage, more than a grand masters would in an all out battle. The boy then shot a bolt of lightning from his hand up to his purple blade. The young warrior then seemed to fill with more malice, as tears of blood began to roll down his face. The lightning around the blade turned black and the child charged in at Talon, plunging the blade of the saber into his left side. Talon quickly snapped out of his drunken state and grabbed the boy by the arm. The eldest Jade gritted his teeth at the boy and then used raw strength to puncture his finger into the kids arm. To any Sith Warlord, any attacker is an enemy.

Aticus knew this well. Yet, he could not see how Talon continued to stand there with the boy's saber still steady in him. Talon then snaped the boys arm making it go limp, but not before ensuring a steady grip around the saber with his other hand. Talon deactivated the saber and activated it again standing up now. Aticus had seen Talon with wounds before and stand up, but this was one of those big ones. So he walked over to his brother and was about to speak, when he saw the look on Talons eyes. The sith warlord then stuck out his hand and formed an energy a black ball. The ball began to spark and then poured out a stream of red lightning. Talon was frying the guy and stealing his health at the same time. A very well performed tactic.

Though the boys health didnt help that much. The wound was force inflicted and was not that easy to cure. Aticus walked over to Talon who was now sitting holding his wound.

"I managed to stop the bleeding Aticus, but the wound is of black lightning, it will take more time to heal as it has drained me of the force. I used what i had left to fry that bastard." Talon said looking down at the corpse.

Aticus knew Talon was hurting, and he couldent heal something like this. The best he could do would be to heal the would to a scar and hope the force returned to Talon. Even to a Sith Warlord, losing the force all at once is like going blind, or deaf. And what was worse, a dark jedi of Talons level in the force would have deep hollows.

So Aticus healed the rest of Talons wound, though the attack had healed it very nicely. It was nothing more than an inch deep when Aticus had got to it. Talon stood up perfectly, yet Aticus could see it instantly. Talon looked blank, and hollow. He then looked to Aticus.

"My saber." said Talon coldly.

Aticus handed Talon his two dragon hilt sabers, and the warlord activated them both. He then turned to look at Aticus, but with more of a Talon look. Yet, it was still visable the force was still weak flowing in him right now. Talon nodded.

"I can tell from yours eyes brother. You do not think I can battle like this? You are right, no jedi can.. ..but fortunantly, the effects only last for a month if the jedi trains hard enough to regain their force abilities. And thats what I am going to have to do." said the warlord as he deactivated his sabers and hung them on his belt.

Aticus said nothing as he did not, and could not understand how his brother felt. He showed no emotion, much like Aticus never showed it.

"Aticus, you are acting Quaestor during my absence. I am counting on you to win this coming war, I know you are capable of it, just do not fail me.."

Aticus nodded.

"I can handle this, it would not be the first war I've started and finished after all." replied the Aedile.

Talon nodded. "Very well, I'll come back when I have regained my abilities."

He then started his fighter and left the area. To Aticus's surprise, no one even rushed over. They were'nt even aware of the attack. It was as if the whole thing had just happend and no one noticed, but then he though. Perhaps if his mind was clouded, maby the rest of the houses minds were blocked. He then looked to see Vally looking at him with knowing eyes of what just happend. Aticus nodded, and so did Vally. It appeared that anything less than a warmaster of the house just were blocked out as if it were not even happening.

|| :: (( Ziost Battle Cruiser :: Command Meeting Chambers )) >>

The Acting Quaestor looked at his battle team leaders, his apprentice, and Vally. All sat at the large round wooden table, with seats made of very fine material. Aticus then stood up. He had personally questioned Vally and his apprentice both about what happend after the Raydath battle. both answered differently. His apprentice never saw Talon leave. Yet, Vally saw what truelly happend. So Aticus discussed the true happenings of what had happend that past night at the pick up zone. The battle team leaders were surprised. Yet, understood that Talon would take no time to recover. So now the summit needed to hear the battle stratagy.

|| :: (( Zaragth :: Ziost Landing Site )) >>

Aticus stood in dark crimson sith armor, that gleamed in the light. His white hair, now grown out long again extended down past his shoulders and to his mid back. He had trained in a hyper stasus barrier. Something he had created, that allows him to flow through time much faster than time is actually going by. Much like force speed, escept on all aspects of the body. This is obviously what made the warmasters hair return to full length. He held a sith war double blade as his house and its many troops ran out of the drop shuttles behind him.

This was a whole new war now, as for control was now fully in the warmasters hands. Talon knew that Aticus would bring an end to the Raydath even if he had to destroy the planet to do it. The warmaster began to walk forward. As each soldier passed by, and each fight zoomed over head, the Ziost battle cry could be heard. The enemy was unpreapared for Ziost, and it was time to crush them. And Ziost charged in.

Esca

30-01-2005 14:53:11

Esca was the last to exit the landing ship. All of the Ziost troops had bolted out as soon as they could for the battle had made them edgy. Esca was smart enough to never run into a battle unless you knew precisely what was to happen or what could happen. Esca set foot on the ground and felt the anger in the air. There would be much death this day, and it would be a glorious war. The Tetrarch and Acting Aedile glanced over to Aticus, whom was also watching the Priest. They both nodded to each other as Esca retrieved his ancestral weapon, the Chariguai. It was the first battle it had been in for over a year, and it was time to see if it still had the potential it once had. Many deaths had come from the Chariguai, and Esca thought to only further its count.

The Priest began walking towards Aticus and passed him allowing his inner ‘power’ to run freely throughout the air. Even beings that were not Force Sensitive would feel the power radiating form one who did this, and Esca deemed it necessary in order to…provoke his enemies into making the wrong moves in battle. The Chariguai was in its resting position, which was spinning freely around Esca’s right middle finger as the gloves he wore contained the disc and kept it from moving on its own. The troops on the front lines had just met their adversaries, and Esca knew it would only be a matter of time when he would reach the ranks of bloodshed and anguish.

With the thought of past battles in his mind, Esca decided not to delay the inevitable and quickened his pace towards the front lines. He would then play out his first of many plans when an opening was found into the enemy territory. As Esca moved closer and closer, his Apprentice, Protector Uzbad, emerged from the troops and made his way to the right of Esca. The Master looked at his Apprentice and nodded in approval as the two made their way further and further into the battlefield.

Moments later, the explosions began. The Raydath were performing bombing raids, and it was only a matter of time before Ziost would retaliate and send their own fighters after the Raydath pilots. Esca continued to have his sight trained forward as he noticed a sniper in the ranks of the Raydath. She was aiming for Uzbad and had a perfect line of sight, for the gap Esca was waiting for had surely opened up. It was finally time to see if the Chariguai still maintained the speed it once bore.

Esca brought his gloved hand behind him, which took the discus with it, and quickly ‘threw’ his hand out in front of him sending a burst of speed into the Chariguai by allowance of the Force. The Chariguai made a high pitched searing sound that quickly died off as it penetrated the bearings of sound itself. Now virtually invisible to the naked eye, Esca watched as the sniper fired their first shot, which was directly in the path of the Chariguai. Esca knew of the outcome…The Chariguai was moving at a tremendous speed bearing, therefore had the potential to slice through the projectile and sent both halves into the ranks of the Raydath, successfully wounding two of the warriors.

The sniper noticed a glimmer of light as the projectile was severed in two, and quickly trained another shot, not knowing what the problem truly was. Then it was too late to even move out of the way…if she did see the Chariguai. The gold and silver discus arched up as it reached the sniper, and sliced vertically through the snipers gun, and head, leaving a small red line trailing up until the sniper fell backwards. Her head split open partially, and the Chariguai arced back towards Esca, its mission complete.

Uzbad was able to witness most of it, due to the speed differences at each point in time, and was amazed at the agility of the weapon that simply returned to Esca’s hand. The entire time that the Chariguai was completing its mission, the Master and Apprentice had continued their stride towards the front ranks. Now they had arrived, and it was time to show their true prowess of battle. Esca placed the Chariguai in a specially made sheath for it, and nodded to Uzbad allowing him to relocate and find his own ‘prey.’ Esca scanned the area when he felt as if someone was stalking him.

Esca whirled around and crossed his arms up in the air as a war axe came bearing down on him. Esca caught it on the handle, just below the blade, and successfully stopped his head from being caved in. The Raydath warrior glared at Esca, and it seemed like an eternity before the Priest grabbed the hilt with both hands and swung it around low. It arched between the two fighters, and nearly sliced into Esca’s leg. Esca then pushed his weight into the weapon as it was before is foe’s stomach, and rammed the hilt into the Raydath warrior’s middle, taking the air from his lungs. Esca then jerked the axe from the grip of his enemy, and slammed the side of the blade into the Raydath’s face, shattering his nose, and forward bone structure. If the man did not die of internal bleeding, there would be no way for anyone to ever recognize him again.

The Priest heard a barrage of blaster fire behind him and quickly thought of a Force constructed barrier. He turned to face approximately five sharpshooters, and released his hold on the Force as the barrier ‘solidified’ and deflected most of the bolts. Two of them, however, managed to shoot through and hit Esca in the right arm and leg. This took the Priest to the ground, but he continued to hold his barrier up as the second wave of blaster bolts flew into it. To Esca’s surprise, two of the sharpshooters suddenly went down to their knees and started screaming. Then Esca smiled. He contained his thoughts of pain, and removed any scarred tissue from his arm and leg, then let the barrier down as Uzbad caved one of the Raydath’s heads in. Esca sent the image of unimaginable horror into the remaining two sharpshooters heads, and they dropped their weapons, running in fear.

Esca walked over to his Apprentice quickly and nodded his thanks. Uzbad nodded back and the two once again ran into the enemy ranks to fight for Ziost. Fight for each other. Win the War once and for all…

Aticus

30-01-2005 16:14:20

Aticus stood beside the landing shuttle, watching as the rest of the house rushed in. Joining him on the hill top was his apprentice, and Vally the second Warlord of Ziost. The two ranking members of Ziost wanted to see how Ziost fared against the masses without the assistance of the two. To no suprise the house continued to slaughter the Raydath. Aticus watched Esca and his legendary weapon, something Aticus found interest in, as well as the children of ziost useing the hate imbedded into them by their teachings.

As the battle waged on, the three members of Ziost had stood atop the hill for thirty minuets or so.

"Enough of hesitating their fate. Let us go."

A grin crossed Alex's face as his master gave the word to attack. He quickly jumped from atop the hill and came down with the katana Aticus had crafted for him on one of the higher ranking Raydath on the feild.

"A fiesty one you selected no?" asked Vally.

"No, but he knows hesitation leads to death." stated Aticus as he and Vally walked down the hill to the war.

Getting close the Raydath who were force sensative could feel the emence power of the two sith walking side by side. They turned from their current opponants and used what weak force ability they had to jump to the two sith, or more so their death. Aticus began to grow in his hatred, when Vally held his hand infront of the acting Quaestor.

"Allow me." said the Sith Warlord.

Vally's rage seemd to go from calm to boiling in a split second, a trait of a warlord that placed them above a warmaster. He then unleashed this hatred at the three Raydath that had insulted the two sith with their weakness. He shot the bolts of hatred into them until it literally lifted them off the ground. He then released them within one inch of their life, but kept them levitated. He then got the grin of the devil himself on his face and closed his fist. In doing so the three men were crushed with Vally's control of the force.

"Nicely done. Yet I prefer this one." replied the warmaster.

He raised his hand level with his chest, and then balled it into a fist. In doing so, the ground began to crumble under many of the Raydath warriors. Not to fall into a hole, but into the acidic streams that flowed freely beneath the crust of the planet.

Vally nodded. "Yes, an old yet useful tactic. Well, enough of who's the greater power, lets rape these idiots."

Aticus let a small smile cross his face, but it quickly faded away as he let his anger fuel him. Almost instantly Aticus had went from the calm Aedile of House Ziost, to the blood thirsty sith warmaster. He activated his black bladed saber and began slaughtering Raydath soldiers. There were many to be killed, and the fighters over head were not helping.

Aticus sent a TK message to his Eagle Squadron commander. "Where in the hell are you? Intercept all Raydath fighters and bombers. Launch now!"

Sunflash

31-01-2005 12:28:27

Sunflash waggled his wings as he left the safety of the Ziost Battle Cruiser. Sunflash looked out the view ports of his Interceptor and checked that all of his squadron had made it out of the cruiser intact. Sunflash smiled, they had been slightly late in deploying from the cruiser. Three of the Interceptors ere clipped by landing craft as they had left. Then to make matters worse, another Interceptor had been in maintenance, which had taken a few minutes to process a replacement.

Sunflash brought his mind back to the present and brought his Interceptor into a steep dive, straight towards a group of bombers headed to level a group of Ziost warriors. Sunflash looked to his screens and noticed his battle team would only have about four seconds of clearance to destroy the bombers and then turn around and deal with another group of fighters headed to intercept them.

Sunflash set his throttle to full and brought his lasers to single fire so he could cycle through the bombers as quickly as he could. Sunflash watched as the bombers grew in his view ports and sent a click through the com to signal his pilots they were free to engage. Sunflash searched through the Force and felt Eagle Squadron splitting into pairs.

"Good hunting."

Sunflash brought his starfighter about and rolled to the right and brought his sights up on an enemy bomber trailing in the rear. Sunflash brought his thumb down and watched as the bomber went up in an incandescent flare. Sunflash swung his Interceptor around to kill the wingmate of his last kill. However, Sunflash saw the bomber go up in flames similar to the last bomber. Sunflash heard a click over his com signaling that his wingmate, Jerik Arca, had taken the kill.

"Nice shooting, Jerik."

Sunflash heard another click from Jerik to confirm Sunflash's compliment. Sunflash looked back to the battle and saw that the bomber forces had been cut in half and were now turning about and heading towards the incoming squadron. Sunflash got off a few shots, but the bombers got by too fast. Only one of the enemy bombers was destroyed in the head to head run. Sunflash noted that he was going to have to work on that later. Sunflash started to turn about to pursue, but he noticed a lone bomber continuing on towards the ground troops.

“Continue to pursue the fighters and bombers. I have other things to take care of.”

Sunflash turned and pursued the lone bomber, wondering why this bomber was flying by alone. Sunflash checked his scanners and laughed. He knew what was going on.

Sunflash suddenly recieved the mental call from Aticus and smiled.

Aticus

02-02-2005 13:37:18

The fighter continued towards the land battle. Aticus could feel the presence of the fighter, and new it would dare not bomb with thier weak allies on the ground, but to his surprise he could feel the echo of the force from the bomb shafts beginning to open. The warmster quickly turned his attention to the bomber.

"Enough of this."

Aticus pushed back the enemies that had circled him and jumped on top of the low hanging bomber. Once on top he ignited his saber and cut open the cockpit hatch. He punched the pilot one time in the neck, crushing his wind pipe. He through the pilot out of the bomber and it began to plummet to the ground, right where his troops were. Closing his eyes, Aticus controled the fighter with his mind and took it away from the feild.

Once the warmaster felt the bomber was at an angle that it would not crash into his house, he flipped off and landed softly on his feet and watched as the bomber plummeted to the ground. The load of bombs on the fighter made a pleasent explosion knocking even Aticus to his knees from the shockwave. This gave Ziost the chance to strike first, once again.

The well trained warriors of Ziost quickly recovered and struck the fallen Raydath. Many died from the unexpected attack of Ziost. The ones who wernt dead, were either injured fataly or were trying to retreat. Aticus looked over his shoulder to catch the glimps of one of the Raydath rookies rushing him. Aticus grabbed a shard of scrap metal that had fallen before him off of the bomber.

As the recruit rushed in close enough, Aticus performed an ancient assasins technique. Throwing the weapon. The shard flew quickly and accuratly into the pathetic fools neck, spraying blood like a rainbow as the knees of the warrior buckled. Showing enough honor to his enemy, Aticus quickly activated his saber once again and removed the head of the Raydath.

This battle was over, and Ziost had won. Although there were some casualties and injuries. Aticus could feel pain from some of his lower ranking warriors. He also felt the thoughts of Vally who was finishing off some of the final Raydath that were running up the hills.

"Now you die weaklings."

A spray of dark energy bolts flew from the warlords left hand as his right hand thrusted a saber into the heart of a warrior infront of him. The bolts met with their targets and made the blood within their veigns boil, thus ending the Raydath resistance for this battle.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

((Raydath Camp, Mount Sajukai))

The wounds of the warriors were being taken care of by Ziost's krath. Aticus stood alone with his eyes closed. The red glow of the moon made a slight glint off of the hilt of his saber, which caught the eye of his apprentice. Alex walked to his master and bowed his head.

"Master Aticus, the wounds of the Raydath were pathetic. Our forces should be at one hundred percent in a matter of hours."

Aticus nodded, but kept his eyes closed. The moon seemed to be feeding Aticus with needed knowledge. The warmaster opend his eyes and looked at his apprentice.

"Alex, you have battled honorably today. Be pleased with your actions. Soon many more will bow before you and beg of your mercy, will you show it to them?"

Alex's eyes grew cold.

"Mercy is a word of the weak. If you fight, you are ment to be slayed."

Aticus smiled.

"Good, but do not forget that information is a key to our success, and slaves are cheap labor."

"As I said master, those who fight will die. Those who retreat were ment to serve us."

The warmaster nodded.

"Now leave me, I must meditate.. ..I suggest you get some rest. We have only three more hours here before we depart for our next target. Temple Odin. This target will be much more difficult to take."

Alex nodded and bowed his head once again and left his masters presence.

Sunflash

(( Mount Sajukai ))

Sunflash landed his Interceptor in Ziost's temporary base camp. Just as the landing struts touched the ground Sunflash propelled himself from his cockpit and landed next to his wingmates Interceptor. Sunflash stood and waited for his squadron to pull themselves from their fighters. A few of the more experienced pilots jumped from their cockpits, but many of the newer pilots decided to take more of a conservative approach and slowly lowered themselves to the ground. Sunflash waited until all of Eagle Squadron had gathered around him in a semi-circle before he spoke.

"We did well today, even after a few setbacks."

The squadron laughed at Sunflash's joke. Many of the veterans to piloting just politely smiled, as they knew that the victory had been fortunate. Most battles ended worse than this one had. The element of surprise had aided the squadron greatly.

"However, do not expect these kind of victories. Fight for these victories! We are Sith! we take victories! Battle is our blood!"

Sunflash worked himself into a frenzy over the battle. He had flown his squadron into a battle and had not had any casualties. The victory had been more than he had expected. Sunflash had expected Ziost to triumph, but he had not expected this clean of a victory.

Jerik stood and cheered, leading the rest of the squadron in cries for the clan, house and battle team. Sunflash smiled and left the area while Eagle Squadron was preoccupied. Sunflash set off to find Aticus or maybe Esca. One of the two would be able to provide Sunflash with the details he needed for the upcomming battle.

Sunflash did not see his two flight leaders slip in behind him. Both Godo and Blackheart were trailing in behind Sunflash at a safe distance. Sunflash sensed them through the Force, as neither was trying to shield themselves. Sunflash sighed, they would need to hear the briefing anyway. They would need to prepare their flights for the upcomming confrontation.

"Come on you two."

Sunflash watched as the two flight leaders approached. He turned silently as they neared him and set off again to find Aticus.

Alex grabbed hold of the side of the dropship as he looked out of the open hatch upon the great temple, Odin. The air rushing in blew through his hair and clothes as well the other occupant's.
Even more of a spectacle then the magestic temple itself, stood legion after legion of battle ready Raydeth warriors. Though Alex didn't get such an overview of the preceding battle, he guessed this force was nearly twice the size of the last. They were all prepared for a great battle, as well. They wouldn't be taken by suprise like last time. The Protector didn't know of the number of Ziost warriors but he had a bad feeling of their chances. This would be an intense and savage battle. It would bring him and all Ziost warriors great honor, through life or death.
An intense wave of the force engulfed Alex, nearly forcing him to lose his footing. He turned back to see how the rest of the crew were affected. To his suprise, they didn't show much strain. Though some of the lower ranking members had their eyes closed and a slight strained look on their face, most of the warriors showed no reaction...or a possitive one. Aticus was smiling.
It was incredible. Alex had never been in the presense of so many force strong beings before. At first, it nearly overwhelmed him but he eventually became balanced with it. He could feel and see the force flowing around him like a fog. He could even feel what house a warrior was in though this...saturation of the force.
Alex took his seat next to Aticus. His master spoke.
"You are worried. Do you doubt the power of Ziost?"
"Of course not, master. It's just that there's so many of them. It's incredible."
Aticus smiled once more and glanced at his apprentice confidently.
"We have a suprise for them.
