Transport en route to San Korinar
Holding Pattern, Lagrange Point 2
Amphor, Orian System

The transport blazed its trail to towards the atmosphere of the Orian gas giant at speeds that few pilots would ever dare risk; the man had worked within the Special Operations group for years and knew precisely what his cargo was capable of. Now more than every their unique talents were needed to ensure these things were sorted out. While the pilot was preoccupied with his breakneck speeds, the pair in the hold were busy sitting before the lone holoprojector that had spawned to life the instant they had left the blockade.

Bathed in the azure glow of the hologram, the two figures that stood before the pair were none other than the Executive Directors of the Dlarit Corporation; Quaestors Mirado Pepoi L'eonheart and Teu Pepoi. Each seemed extremely on as they spoke directly to bring their point home, "Gentlemen, you have been selected to lead Special Operations and Police forces upon the ground. Our enemies are rumoured to be a pirate element of the Organization, survivors of the failed assault are reporting Cybernetic implants and enhancements. Be on high alert and strike deep into the hearts of our enemies, we want no survivors. May the Force be with you."

As the projector winked out, the transport rocked as it passed through the giant's viscious atmosphere. As quickly as the transport began its rocky decent, it ended, a red-light winking into existance within the hold as the pilot's voice rose up across the hold's speakers, "LZ's clear, there are some anti-air elements in the area so we're only going to touch and go."

Things had gotten increasingly hostile as the Dlarit elements had closed in around these Pirates; their units moving to try and surpress the Police and Special Forces at every turn. Even the civilians who had yet to be evacuated became a piece in this dangerous game, becoming hostages for the Pirates as the Dlarit personnel looked on in horror. Even Dlarit anti-air elements had become hostile to their creators.

The transport quickly touched down, the hold doors opening and its light flashing green swiftly as Jeric and Creon disembarked swiftly so that they could begin their mission to reclaim the cloud city.

A Few Hours earlier.....

Ragnos Cathedral
Kar Alabrek, Tarthos

Executive Director Pepoi and Senior Director Cyrin made their way down the corridors of the Cathedral. Teu hadn’t said a word to her senior aide since they left the board meeting and arrived back on Tarthos. As the grand doors swung open every soul in the main hall stopped what they were doing. As the two passed by, people bowed. Whether it was out of respect or fear for the two that rule the planet, Jeric did not know. Entering the Executive Hall the two ignored the Droid Secretary and passed right by Jeric’s Suite and into the Queastor’s Suite. The Executive Director’s Office doors slammed shut as the two entered.

“Take a seat Jeric.” Teu spoke for the first time in almost 3 hours.

“I assume you didn’t like my plan Director?” Jeric remarked.

“On the contrary, that is almost exactly what I want you to do. I didn’t want to say it in front of the board. Frankly I don’t trust my cousin, he wants to carry out this mission his own way to bring glory to himself and make his house seem superior.”

“Your cousin strikes me as that type.” Jeric said in agreement.

“Take the MJHC Vigilance and her sister ship, stay hidden from the fleet, and scout the area for the pirate’s staging area, if they even have one. Once you do that I want you to land on the planet and link up with the Commando Units already there, take charge and bring order back to the city before any of my cousin’s help arrives.”

“I understand, when do you want me to leave?”

“Now, this will give you plenty of time, since we still haven't made final preparations.” Teu said in regard to the Board of Directors. “Surely he will catch on and will most likely send his beloved Regulators. Take you apprentice so you know when the regulators are being dispatched. His loyalties should lie with you above all else.”

“Of course Executive Director. I will leave immediately.”

Jeric and Creon bolted off into the command post as the shuttle took back off into the clouds. As the two Dark Jedi entered the building that D:SOG set up as their command post two men came running up.

“Senior Director, Command.” One of them said as they both snapped salutes to Jeric and Creon. “I am Major Criis CO for the Police Detachment here on Amphor, this is Captain Turner he is acting commander for the D:SOG detachment that is in the city.”

“What is the most up to date report you can give me. I want everything, casualties, size of the enemy forces, exactly were they are held up, and so on.” Jeric order.

“Senior Director Sonjie already received most of the intel. He is already in the Warehouse District putting together a strike team.” Major Criis informed the sith.

Jeric just looked at Creon and the two bolted out of the command post. Bloody Hell, he is the one who gave the order that cause all this trouble, he should not be involved at all. Jeric thought to himself as him and his apprentice raced towards the district.

The screams of plasma fire faded away from Creon’s focus. All he could hear was the echo of each footstep taken when walking towards the enemy. He had never been in a battle like this before. He was in a skirmish in Iridonia once, but never a full fledge battle. His training, however, proved he can handle the situation. The enemy was hidden in the crowded buildings and alley ways of a large city. Creon made sure to watch his back for stealth in a place such as this.

Jeric had already dashed ahead of Creon; his crimson blade flew each blaster shot near him right back towards the pirates. The Apprentice activated the energy shields he obtained from the armory and charged with Jeric with a full sprint and an activated armory saber. Jeric cupped both hands near the top of the lightsaber hilt and let it roll in the arc of his hand between his thumb and index finger while twisting his wrists. The result made the lightsaber’s blade spin like a fan both to his left and right, deflecting the enemy fire from the corners of the city blocks to the roofs of snipers above. The force guided his hand and mind to make the blade feel a part of him, not just an extensional tool. A pirate wrapped in black clothing and a mask approached Jeric from one of the windows of a building. He drew two vibroblades and twirled them into a ready position. Another one appeared and mirrored the same to Creon from behind.

Jeric baited the assassin with a stab, but then quickly drew back once the pirate attempted a heavy counter downward strike, hitting the ground in result. Just then, Jeric planted his foot on the blade, taking it out of his opponent’s grip. The enemy fighter gripped his other vibroblade with both hands and swung for his ribs, but Jeric simply held out the blade to block with one hand, and used the other to take out his blaster pistol and fire with the barrel touching the assassin’s forehead.

Creon well recognized the Jar’ Kai style his opponent waved his blades with. However, Creon was never taught any effective saber styles. So he took the defensive by throwing the nearest piece of metal he could find, each one missing. His opponent darted and weaved towards the Zabrak and kicked him against a wall. The blades came in quick, but Creon caught both with his hands and fought against them from reaching his vital areas while the blood from his hands slithered down his arm. His enemy soon fell dead to the ground at the sound of Jeric’s pistol shot. “Try not to get in that position again,” he sighed at the bloody hands. Creon bowed in agreement; he looked over to his dead opponent’s attire and ripped some of the cloth off. With it he wrapped his hands to stop the bleeding and ran forward with Jeric again with the advancing allied soldiers.

Warehouse District
San Korinar, Amphor

The fighting intensified the further Jeric and Creon pushed into the district. Already their makeshift unit had been killed off. Jeric could sense another dark jedi’s presence up ahead and hope it would be a outpost. Sure enough it was, as the Sith Pirate and his Obelisk Animal rounded the corner they saw at least an entire platoon of Commandos holding their position and taking pot shots from the enemy. It wasn’t the Dark Jedi he was expecting, but it was a good sight to see her.

“Commander Oshairana, glad to see you here. Were is the rest of your team?”

“Senior Director, I sent the three members of my team that came off with a handful of commandos so we can push further into the district.”

“Good move, how far up are they?”

“Last transmission they were at least 2 kilometers ahead. We were about to pack up and move out to set up another outpost, if you and your apprentice would like to join us.”

Creon smiled then answered before his master. “We would be glad to tag along.”

“Great! Extra help is always good.” Masika said as she began packing up the communications equipment.

Jeric looked around the area. Now they moved ahead clearing forces on the ground but we are still taking pop shots from up high. Jeric looked next to him at Creon who was watching Masika. “Creon.”

“Yes Master?”

“Help her pack, I’ll see you at the next outpost.”

With a simple bow Creon made his way over to the Zeltron. She looked over at him and gave him a wink as the two packed up the outpost. Jeric went up to two commandos and tugged at their armor.

“Come with me.” Jeric said as he started walking towards the entrance to one of the building.

“Yes Sir.” Came the helmeted voice from one of the commandos. The two got up and sprinted after the Senior Director. The building was dark inside, power had been cut to the district. Working their way up the three found nothing inside the first building. Using the rooftops they moved from building to building, deeper into the district. A few building only had a sniper and his spotter others still had full teams of pirate forces inside. As the three near the 2 Kilometer mark Jeric could sense the presence of the three Raptors members that Masika sent ahead. Moving up to the rooftop to jump onto the next building Jeric looked off into the distance and could see a large warehouse that still had power. That must be their stronghold. Jeric thought to himself, then made the leap onto the next building.

Masika looked up and smiled at the Zabrak, and his smile returned, “I’m beginning to think you’re planning to follow me ever since our first encounter.”

Creon chuckled at her remark, “I am only obeying the orders of my master. It matters not what the orders are.”

Masika didn’t return another smile; instead she began to look up into the distance at the seemingly quiet area. “Do you sense that?”

Creon blinked up at her and then turned to scan the surrounding buildings. Everything seemed quiet, and the territory looked like it was in their favor. But all of that quickly fell into disarray when he saw a sudden white flash from a blaster rifle from a far away building just before Masika force pushed him out of the shot. After the shot had missed Creon got up but was knocked back down by one of the pirates and the many others surrounding the entire encampment. Commando soldiers were downed immediately. Only the remaining Dark Jedi was able to be pushed back to back on each other while the pirates held them surrounded.

One of them broke through the crowds; he was much better dressed than the other. The attire he wore was not made for battle, but he did have a blaster pistol on his hip, “Greetings Jedi, unfortunately I must warn you to refrain from much further resistance. We have many snipers if my infantry here fails to eliminate any opposition, and if worse comes to worse our artillery will dispose of you. Please, relieve yourselves of your lightsabers and be cooperative when interrogation and we will give respect when your deaths occur.

The anger surged into Creon’s veins that made him clench his fist at the speaker. The second he grasped his saber all of the surrounding pirates raised and aimed their lasers at him. Masika laid a soft hand over his fist, “It’s ok, sugar. You know as well as I do our friends won’t let them keep us very long.” She said letting her saber roll on the floor, “Just give them what they want, for now.”

Creon knew that was the best thing to do, but death before dishonor was instilled within his morale. She reassured him one more time be grasping his arm, and Creon finally let the saber drop.

“Conceal them, and escort our new prisoners to the warehouse…” the pirate said with a large smile on his face when he picked up the two lightsabers. “My master will be very pleased.”
