Aside from Tarax's useless suggestion

you can participate in competitions. That's the best way to move up in the ranks for a Journeyman

I would recommend emailing your House Envoy. They will have a good idea of what kind of activity will gain you rank within your Clan. Each Clan is different, but Shadow Academy courses never hurt in the long run.

I think talking with your Envoy would be the best bet. They notice when you take a butt-load of SA courses, but it is best to get involved in your Clan.
