That would be the Heralds job to make the robes and Sabres, but you dont get new robes till you Earn the Rank of Dark jedi knight or until you get accepted into the ACC, Also you earn the right to wield a saber at the rank of Dark Jedi knight

Also, people make signatures for the message boards and character drawings. If you want a sig, ask around and someone will answer if you ask nicely

Yes, he's right. It does take a lot of patience, especially if you get stuck with a "bad" Master. Most of them are good, though.
Stay with it, and you'll be a DJK soon enough

Each Master is different, some like to go by rigid guidlines set up by a particular Clan, some are a inbetween the guidelines and winging it on their own, and then there are those who use the guidelines as a "reference" and prefer to do a lot of their own things.
So, ask you master what he wants you to do to reach the rank of protector. It could be that he/she is waiting for you to say you're ready to start on a new set of "tasks"
