I don't know the exact translation (Great Brittain Pounds?), but it's just the British currency

Yeah, it looks as if it's a shorthand version of 'United Kingdom Pounds'... although, we tend to call it 'Pound Sterling' ourselves....

Oh. I thought GBP meant something else.

Yeah... its Great Brittish Pounds or something. I guess Pound Sterling (PS) probably wouldn't mean much to people outside the UK... I gotta admit that I doubt I'd realise what PS meant if I just saw the abbreviation. I guess GBP is a bit like say USD for US Dollars.

Aye...GBP is see all the time when we're doing exchange and such for certain invoices. It's what the banks use over here.

Hope you enjoy your 3 day weekend, Timbal. I love weekends...

And I really thought that was what GBP meant. That's why I posted the question. ^_^ But then again, most of us are a little too old to be collecting those stamp thingies.

Well, the Stamp Act wasn't a good thing for our friends overseas, but they did cause the creation of this great country, so I think I'll kiss them stamps. :P

(I'm referring to the Stamp Act of 1765. Wiki it. =P)
