Folks,

This sub-forum was created so we can list weekly bullet points for how the story 'should' progress. It also gives you a chance to speak with others about how to tie all of our characters and posts together. When in doubt, post your tidbit and ask for feedback!

I will be posting later this evening with our 'opening'. I will be detailing the events that led us to the Radamma Void.... before we begin working through the Shroud.

Alright, albeit a slight delay, I got our opening posted. I would have had kal pour over it, but because I was so late in getting to a PC... I went ahead with it.

Our next several posts should be introductions. And it should include lots of characters! Think of this as the opening to Battle Star Galactica (the new one) where lots of people are moving about ships and passing one another as we move to our positions.

If you are a Naval Officer, you will probably begin moving towards the bridge of either The Ballista or the Baron. If you are Corps, you will probably be playing cards in the pilot's mess and messing around before you are called into action. So on and so forth!

Action Plan

*Introduction of charcters
*Moving our vessels into the Shroud
*Plot Update 1 (from either Brae or Kal)

As it's easier to reach you here than on IRC, CONman...

First off, I'll say this to clarify for anyone who doesn't know. The most we have for armed forces is a squad of defenders on each ship, marines of the Navy, to repel borders. The only people under the heading Army are Plagueian Jedi.

Next off, if you're Intelligence or Army, you may wonder what you're even doing right now. Put simply, without boarding action or reaching Antei, you're not going to see any action. If anything, you'd be readying weaponry and gear for when we do land, as well as chatting away with everyone else. If you aren't sure how to approach this, I'd recommend you hold off posting at all until we give you more to work with.

Good question, are we free to post now or should we wait for the green light from a summit member?

Once Alaris fixes his post... we can begin... the n00b just forgot that we can't use hyperdrives in the Shroud. Only the GMs can do that

So have we deployed our entire Fleet? Also where are different divisions stationed?

Our entire fleet is in the Radama Void(INSIDE THE SHROUD) and is heading for Antei. It will take us two days.

Ah, how I've missed Vendetta run-ons

With Eludajae's post, we will be moving into the Shroud. It will be a two day trip through very hazardous conditions and potential enemies/unknowns. We encountered small planets, asteroids and enemies in our venture through the Shroud in the previous GJW. So keep your eyes posted for a major plot update from either Kal or I as you lot begin to tip-toe through the murky void of space!

From what I understand, this means that Mograine has to edit his post from "Enroute to The Shroud" into "Enroute to Antei", if I am correct.

I have sent my revised post to Kal and Braecen, just waiting for them to respond with an approval before I put it up, thanks for your patience.

I've been getting some questions about which ship everyone is currently on. As of the time of this writing, here's where people are, to the best of my knowledge:

Anyone else in the Clan hasn't posted yet, so there's no way to have known where they are. The exception of this is Braecen, who, being an Elder, is helping guide the fleet through the Shroud, though I'm not entirely sure which ship he's doing so on. I think he's on the Perdition, going by the short speech he had given in the first post, but at the current time, I don't know whether or not he has relocated.

hey folks... getting some major work done on the run-on tonight/today. I posted, followed by Viv, Sanguinius... with Eludajae and Kal to follow.

When are these IRC discussions taking place? And can you include a timezone?

I didn't get time to put my post together tonight, but I just want to point out that our weekly orders explicitly state we are not on the planet first. Maybe General Faylen slates our ground forces in as reinforcements for the beachhead, or holds us back to deal with things that come up (like Objective Spider), or Clans Tarentum and Taldryan are just given a higher landing priority, who knows.

Be aware that this affects our ground forces, not necessarily our pilots, who will probably end up as escorts or ground support.

When I get back from managing this camp I'll be making the run-on a higher priority for myself, since Denath is a formidable warrior on the ground. See you all in a few days.

So If I read this correctly, our ground forces should be getting hit by more droids correct?

With all the LAAT's flying around it wouldn't be unwise to do someting similar to what the clones did on Geonosis and have them take up an overhead pattern, since all LAAT/i's have Anti-personnel laser turrets (1 behind the doors and 2 at the front), Composite-beam laser turrets (2 behind the cockpit and 2 others on the wings), Mass-driver missile launchers (2)(30 missiles each),Light air-to-air rockets (4 under each wing) and Droid busters launcher. (yes I got all that from wookiepedia, but saved you a trip didn't it?)

It was just a thought, since I don't know what our next objective is.

Ain't the week 2 objective just to hold back the streams of endless droid reinforcement? However, who cares... week 3 is just around the corner.
