Well....Stalin (and this is just Stalin mind you), from the time of the Red Revolution to the time of his death in 1954 secretly murdered an estimated (i say estimated because they are still uncovering mass graves) 53 million Russian civilians. This is not counting famine, desease, or war casualties, which were always the highest out of all the other combatants in the world wars (war casualties are the communists fault b/c they didn't arm their men with satisfactory, and sometimes no, weapons). It was like cattle to the slaughter by Nazi machine guns.
That is why, dear Revaan, as crule and demon possessed as Hitler was, he was just a ruffian when compaired to the mechinations of Stalin and the Communist regime.

B/C America and Europe in general never actually fought the Soviet Union.
Also, Hitler gets more attention b/c he, though he did not murder nearly as many people, leveled the infrastructure of many countries and in general, wrought havoc on a global scale...stupid.
Stalin however, took the stealthy, quiet approach. He erased nearly all documentation of his actions.
The really sad thing for me is that Nicholas the 3 (the last czar of Russia) had actually resighned from office giving rulership to a parliment of sorts making Russia, for about nine months, a near democratic country...until the Communists murdered the leaders of this new government along with the royal family...DURING THE F-ING World War!!! The effects of that, not to mention the slaughter brought about by Stalin and the rest of his sadistic squad of lunatics, are still felt today...and will continue to be felt for many years to come.
Thankfully though, the Russian mafia expediated the erosure of the CCCR (soviet union)...along with other elements such as overspending over the course of the cold war with the US and outside influences like the late Pope.
But yes. The subject is definatly not given enough attention. Stalin=Greatest Sadistic Mass Murdering F*** in recorded history.
