CHL Format
In order to level the playing field and grant ‘lower ranking’ Dark Jedi a better chance of competing in the ACC’s Championship Ladders, we have constructed a new format. In this format we have addressed weapons, the practice of the ladder itself and some other ins and outs that will establish the way the CHL’s are run.

Weapons
No longer are combatants limited to Lightsabre and Hand to Hand only. We are instituting a 4-weapon (raw count) max to all battles of the CHL, to expand the scope of combat. Please see the following for more guidance on CHL weapons;

Lightsabres & Training Sabres
All combatants will carry their Lightsabre(s) or Training Sabre, as a minimum.

- Single lightsabres count as one (1) weapon.
- Dual bladed lightsabres count as two (2) weapons.
- Those individuals who have a dual sabre form as a primary form will be required to carry ‘both’ sabres
---- Primary form is the sabre form that they have allocated the most points to. If there is a tie between dual and single style points, the dual style is the trump and they are considered dual weild for sabres and will default to 2 sabres.
---- This will count as two (2) weapons.
- Those individuals who are below the rank of DJK will be required to carry their Training Sabre (mandatory).
---- If the training sabre is not present on the dossier, they will still be required to have one “issued” for the ladder, its skill will be assumed as 2 in Banlanth
---- Individuals who are armed with a training sabre will have an ACC Armory weapon, of the Champion class, issued to them automatically (see the ACC Armory for CHL weapons).
---- The weapon issued will be commensurate with the standard weapon, on a combatant’s CS that holds the most skill, first. If no standard weapons of the sword, staff, whip or dagger types exist on a combatant’s CS, then ‘type’ will be determined by that of their custom weapon and the Champion class weapon will be issued accordingly.
---- If neither standard or custom weapons exist with a viable type for the issuance of a Champion class weapon, they will be issued the Champion’s Blade and default to a 3 in the sword skill.
---- The training sabre and issued Champion class weapon will count as two (2) weapons.

**Note: The reason for these 'default' and 'no choice' items are so that the fighters can sign up, battles can be set up and the comp can operate with basically no input from the combatants.

Additional Weapons
Participants of CHL’s may carry additional weapons (apart from guidance addressed above concerning lightsabres and training sabres) to allow them a maximum of four (4). This is not mandatory, merely an option.

- An individual must possess the skill to carry the additional weapons.
- No additional weapons are restricted, that is; they can be any that are normally allowed in the ACC, however, some types and instances are ‘controlled’.
---- All skills, abilities, ranks and other approved instances that allow for ‘dual wielding’ of weapons will have those weapons counted individually (not as one (1) weapon or pair), to include; Echani, Dual Handedness, Dual Sabre Forms, OT and above for blasters (Obelisk only) etc.
---- For instance, users of Echani who wish you bring daggers will have those daggers counted as one (1) each. DA Joe, an approved Echani user with a primary sabre style of Jar’Kai will probably have the following weapons; lightsabre, lightsabre, dagger and dagger – a total of four (4) weapons.

More to come...
